Visited the Yonkers Cross Country store

I look to stand out, to be different from the crowd. I’ll admit it; I’m seeking compliments.
I like to give a nod to my Italian heritage (e.g., bigger collars and gold chains).
It’s also important that I look a step above at work – a nice tie, colorful shirts, etc. I want to be a good representative of my company after all.
I’m looking for something that’s unique….a shirt that you’ve never seen before. Something that you know would look great on you. Not something that everybody else is wearing.
Being in management and you’re in the public’s eye 10, 12 hours a day, it’s nice to look a little bit special. You feel good throughout the day as opposed to just wearing anything bland and letting the day go by as it goes by. At least you’re well dressed in the public’s eye. They’re there shopping for a product, and you want to be the representative of that company. You want to look good doing it.
I stick to my tried and true brands – Claiborne, Calvin Klein, Levi’s. I know they’ll fit me.
I like a relaxed mood. Softer music and lighting, personable staff, wider aisles, maybe a healthy café.
Employees should be on stand by. And they should be wearing looks sold at the store.
If you’re asking an employee a question and they have something they think would look good on you and they recommended it to you, I don’t think that’s a bad idea at all. Why not, because you can’t obviously see everything that’s in the store unless you’re going to pick it apart section by section. You’re going to miss things and maybe they might have something that looks good on you. The employee should recommend it. That would be great.
They Yonkers store is clean, spacious, not too cluttered, and well lit.
But….stores like this don’t pay enough attention to the outer boroughs. The finer details of the experience are let go. Bring Manhattan decorum here!

Employees should get to know my style and make recommendations
iPads so I can order items that aren’t available in-store
A hook to hold my stuff while I try things on
Complementary or discounted tailoring upon purchase
The racks are too tall for a short guy like me!
