Discovery & Wayfinding
Navigation at Century 21 is hard. We’re accustomed to having sections organized by clothing type and size, but C21 seems to be quite haphazard. This lack of organization and natural cues de-values their products.

THE SIGNAGE IS SCARCE AND CONFUSING.
In some stores, we don’t see any big signs at all. It’d be nice to see large signs that say “Jeans,” “Coats,” etc.
Some of the big navigation signs don’t make sense. For example, “Contemporary” and “Young Contemporary” are vague.
The order of the store can be off-putting. Why are the suitcases next to shoes? Why are coats next to swimwear?
DISCOVERY IS HARD.
Racks should have better organization – perhaps by size and color within each style?
Curation is king; make it easier for us to find that treasure. Right now, it’s too hard.
Spot lighting is a great way to focus our attention on something you want us to see. Fluorescent lighting is dreary.
Organize shoes by style and brand.
DISORGANIZATION & CLUTTER ARE ANNOYING.
If the racks are disorganized, I feel overwhelmed and want to give up.
The clearance racks need to be somewhat organized too!
It’s not good when I see the wrong brands on a rack for another designer.
Too much clutter weighs down the value of the merchandise.
Too many knick-knacks that aren’t curated can create clutter and de-value the clothes.
BE SIZE DIVERSE.
Please guarantee my size, even if it’s a few days later and needs to be shipped.
When Century 21 doesn't carry any plus sizes, it makes me feel like this store isn’t for me.
